Location release form


 I've completed this pre-production activity to have an example of a location release form that will be required when needing permission to film somewhere. By doing this, I will understand the necessary aspects of pre-production that if they weren't done could me into trouble. This will help me in the future as I will be able to know the importance of pre-production planning.

Budgeting: Below the line and Above the line

  Above the line-  the list of individuals who guide, influence and add to creative direction, process and voice of a given narrative in a film and their related expenditures. These roles include (but aren't limited to) the screenwriters, producer, director, producers, and writers from the other crew. Below the line- a term derived from the top sheet of a budget (Motion Picture, Television, Commercial, Industrial, Student Film, Documentary). The 'line' in below the line is one separating the Actors, Director, Producers and Writers from the other crew I have completed this pre-production activity to allow myself more understanding of required finances in a low-budget film. By understanding the idea of 'above' and 'below' the line costs, I will be able to have a clearer idea of how budgeting works and where money specifically goes to in a project.
