Location permission table




 I've completed this pre-production activity so that I can have a clear idea for where I'd like to shoot my film. By doing this, I've had more time to consider the genre of my film and if the locations I've selected will fit this. This will help me in the future as I will consider all aspects of location selection e.g. if it fits with my genre and what challenges could be faced when shooting.

Budgeting: Below the line and Above the line

  Above the line-  the list of individuals who guide, influence and add to creative direction, process and voice of a given narrative in a film and their related expenditures. These roles include (but aren't limited to) the screenwriters, producer, director, producers, and writers from the other crew. Below the line- a term derived from the top sheet of a budget (Motion Picture, Television, Commercial, Industrial, Student Film, Documentary). The 'line' in below the line is one separating the Actors, Director, Producers and Writers from the other crew I have completed this pre-production activity to allow myself more understanding of required finances in a low-budget film. By understanding the idea of 'above' and 'below' the line costs, I will be able to have a clearer idea of how budgeting works and where money specifically goes to in a project.
