Monsters case study

I have completed this pre-production activity to provide an example of the scale of pre-production from a moderately budgeted film. I've used powerpoint for this task as it allowed me to concentrate on separate parts of the film's pre-production, therefore letting me make a more evaluative conclusion on whether it was successful or not. This will help me when creating the final product as I will know how to plan effectively based on the case studies I looked at.

By studying the elements of pre-production separately, it's helped me understand how everything connects together and by using powerpoint as a way to display this, it makes each component easier to break down. Film treatment

  I have completed this pre-production activity to understand what should be featured in a film proposal. I did this by presenting different aspects of my project e.g. script, title, pitch so that potential investors will be able to see a more rounded version of what I've created. By doing this, I will be able to recognise the important features of a treatment and understand why they are individually necessary.
