Production Equipment List I've completed this pre-production activity so I can have an exact idea of the type of equipment I will need to borrow from school alongside the quantity and when it will need to be collected/ returned. This will help me with the organisation of my project as it will help provide a strict date in which something would need to be filmed, making me less liable to overrun in filming.  1. In the music industry, copyright is a form of protection for an artist to ensure that their music is compensated for and not stolen by someone else. 2. In terms of copyright law and regulation, artists of any music form are entitled to copyright protection. This prevents their creations from being played in public places without permission. 3. The Copyright. Designs & Patents Act 1988 allows artists to have the right of deciding how the work is used and distributed.  Anything created by the artist is immediately copyrighted and is not allowed to be copied without their consent. 4. The music industry is regulated by The Performing Rights Society, MCPS and PPL 5. The Performing Rights Society provides functions, such as collections of royalties, between copyright holders and parties who want to use copyrighted work in a public way.   I've completed this pre-production activity to make note of any issues I could face during the filming process of my project. By already considering potential issues before filming starts, I will be more likely to prevent them from happening and will be less likely to encounter any huge problems that would take a considerable time to solve. This will help me in the long run as I will have prepared for anything negative in advance.
